Dashboard Analyst

We're looking for a Dashboard Analyst to join our talented Data Science Team. The Dashboard Analyst will design, develop, implement, and maintain client dashboards using business intelligence software. Assist Data Science, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Project teams with project dashboarding, analysis, and troubleshooting reports as needed.

The Dashboard Analyst will use research, data, reporting, and analytics techniques to answer business questions, assist with developing ‘test-and-learn’ approaches that roll up to larger learning objectives, and implement best practices around research, analytics, and intervention measurement. The successful Dashboard Analyst will have an eye for design and a strong understanding of dashboard design practices, data visualization principles, and data analytics to make interactive, visually-appealing dashboards.

**What would I do at Reach Digital Health?**
- Help to drive day-to-day usage and development of dashboards for various audiences to deliver impactful, actionable insights.
- Contribute to the standardization of dashboards using best practices in dashboard design and layout.
- Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Project teams to understand reporting requirements, propose appropriate data visualizations, and design interactive and visually-pleasing dashboards.
- Keep up to date with the latest features and best practices of the applicable business intelligence software.
- Ensure all information is produced accurately, timely, and professionally.
- Facilitate sharing of data and insights among relevant internal parties to inform future strategies.
- Report on key metrics for project and intervention effectiveness and develop critical findings for optimisation.
- Adept in troubleshooting discrepancies, fixing them with appropriate solutions, and maintaining data accuracy.
- Provide feedback regarding issues and anomalies found during analysis to ensure proper internal and external communication.
- Continuously improve the quality, accuracy, integrity, and value of the data by giving input into the optimization of data structures and possible integration of data from various sources.
- Synthesise research results and uncover overarching themes to drive the organisation's strategy forward.
- Assist internal teams in maximising available research sources and proprietary studies.
- Work with the Data Science team to build monitoring tools to ensure data is current.
- Be creative, solution-orientated, and think outside the box.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams.

**What skills and experience do I need?**
- A BA or BS degree or the equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in research, data visualization, monitoring and evaluation, business consulting, or data analysis.
- 2+ years of experience developing dashboards on Tableau, PowerBI, or Superset.
- 1+ years experience with SQL.
- Experience with Athena, and BigQuery is a plus.
- Experience with version control/git is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to create meaningful, accurate, and maintainable dashboards that follow best practices in dashboard design and layout.
- Demonstrated ability to understand different dashboard audiences and creatively display applicable information.
- Demonstrated experience in data storytelling.
- Demonstrated interest in quantitative and qualitative research, experimental design, and data analysis.
- Must haves - high attention to detail, quick learner, storyteller.
- Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual who can work independently and in a team.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Suite with intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel/Google Sheets
