**Introduction**
- We are seeking to employ a Booking Clerk to work within the Central Replenishment Team. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office Cape Town and will report into the Order Flow Manager.

**Job description**

**Purpose**:

- To ensure that all suppliers are booked and managed according to allocated NDD’s and time slots to ensure smooth operations.

**Job Objectives**:

- To ensure all suppliers are booked timeously by taking into account floor capacity, volume and late deliveries
- To assist in the planning of staff requirements based on volume and ensure that its aligned to the planned budget
- To report on supplier activity and inform stakeholders of any out of cycle deliveries
- To ensure that the KPI board is completed correctly and monitor the receiving schedule board
- To ensure that relevant parties are informed of the supplier delivery schedule
- To ensure all PO’s are allocated, printed, closed and sent to the relevant departments
- To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance

**Minimum requirements**

**Job related skills**:

- Computer literacy
- Microsoft office suite
- Communication (verbal and written) skills
- Basic numeric skills
- Attention to detail
- Organising skills

**Job related knowledge**:

- Essential: 1 year Administration experience
- Essential: 1 year within a distribution/logistics
- Desirable: Customer relations/suppliers
- Desirable: Experience on a warehouse management system

**Experience**:

- Essential: Matric
