Snr Specialist Property Optimisation

**Core Description**:
Responsible to optimise the life span and integrity of the buildings, equipment, energy and related assets by determining the maintenance and statutory requirements, creating maintenance plans and managing maintenance and building related operating activities within budget and allocated timeframes. Manage the facilities management vendor(s) and produce tactical plans to meet the business requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
Accountable for managing, controlling and directing the successful planning, delivery and maintenance of AC/ DC power related activities on the properties.
Provide leadership, strategy and innovation for the Masts & Towers (M&T) consolidation and optimization.
Facilities and Infrastructure domain: to prepare power infrastructure for future technologies and growth in alignment with business requirements and overlay the impact with the network infrastructure.

Accountable for managing, controlling and directing the successful planning, delivery and maintenance of AC/ DC power related activities on the Openserve properties.

Drive and implement alternative energy solutions

Development an ongoing maintenance of exhaustive and reliable database relating to the portfolio and Operational Databases (e.g. Facilities management system and any other systems referencing the portfolio)
Identify and manage execution on initiatives to reduce cost of managing portfolio (e.g. Portfolio segmentation to guide capital and operational expenses allocation)

Major Incident Management:including contingency management and disaster recovery at the various facilities/sites.
Ensure building stability linked to network KPIs and site classification

Engage periodically with internal stakeholders to ensure the portfolio remains compliant and aligned to statutory expectations
Make recommendations and contribute towards the long-term portfolio strategy aligning to the overall market trends

Execute on Network Operations strategy.
Build strategic relationships with relevant stakeholders by networking with various internal/external key role-players

Conduct complex negotiations with internal/external customer, stakeholders, and supplier

**Required Certification**:
**Qualifications**:
Relevant 3 year Degree or Diploma (at least NQF level 6).

**Experience**:
7 years relevant experience Proven track record on experience within the Core Network Operations, Disaster Recovery
and BCP/BCM is advantageous
