Ou Meul Bakery is growing as we are looking for a full-time Data & Operations Analyst. You will support the Operation through data analysis, reporting, presenting findings and potential solutions with the goal of improving business profitability.

Experience in a hospitality/restaurant environment is essential to this role. Experience in working with GAAP is a huge advantage.

**List of Responsibilities & duties, including but not limited to**:_**(**_Please note that the role is not limited to but will be largely measured on the outcome of the below)_
- Ensure a purchasing strategy is in place to procure the best quality products at the best price to meet operational requirements.
- Create purchasing processes in the acquisition of goods and the timely delivery thereof.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on GAAP.
- Ensuring that only relevant, up to date information is accessible on gaap, all irrelevant information to be cleared.
- Building reports based on findings and recommending processes to improve the company’s performance metrics.
- Manages the purchasing processes by integrating and optimizing all the steps required to ensure brand requirements are met.
- Maintains supplier relationships and ensures professional customer service.
- Ensures that ops managers are updated timeously on any changes in purchasing order prices.
- Maintains an accurate, up to date Database of suppliers and products.
- Ensures timely supplier price negotiations and rebate calculations are carried out timeously.
- Investigates all problem areas and takes prompt corrective action to avoid future reoccurrences relating to products and systems.
- Analysis & Reporting
- Overall item costings and suggested pricing (this includes menu items, retail, deli, drinks etc)
- Systems management
- Training Facilitation for company Food cost
- Auditing of stock and stock systems in stores
- Collecting and organizing information from various sources
- Examine the data to figure out what is important to the problem and which methods are best to analyze it
- Analyse information and develop solutions to business problems.
- Advise on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem
- Constantly be looking for ways to improve the business
- Actively seek out information to enhance the business
