**Education and experience**:

- Qualified Artisan by way of diesel trade& 5 years’ experience.
- Valid driver license & preferable code 14 license with PDP.
- Own transport essential.
- Must have UD290/440/Quan series and Mercedes Axor and Actros experience.
- Must have experience in electrical work and fault finding.
- Own tools essentials.
- Two contactable references and clear criminal record.

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Must have the ability to fault finding.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Must be prepared to work to predetermined goals and objectives.
- Must be prepared to work shifts, public holidays and weekends.
- Ability to work safe.
- Logical thinker and attention to details.
- Must be able to do and attend to breakdowns.

**Job specification**:

- Service and repairs to UD290/440, Quan series and Mercedes Actros, Axor trucks and trailers.
- Attendance of breakdowns and carry our necessary repairs.
- Ensure that the safety SOP is adhered to when a breakdown is attended, and client vehicles have minimum of risk of an accident.
- Adhere to breakdown safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
- Housekeeping and health and safety needs to apply.
- Administrating and regular reporting to management regarding breakdowns, repairs and services.
- Ensure job cards is completed as per company policy and procedures.
- Perform ancillary duties to the above and determined by management on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure company breakdown vehicles is clean, inspected and log sheets with breakdown register is completed on all shifts.

**Salary**: Up to R21,000.00 per month
