HR and Finance Administrator

Odity is looking for a motivated HR and Finance Administrator to join our team.
**Finance**
- Create customer invoices in the Accounts system
- Send the new invoices to the customer
- Follow up on all outstanding customer debt
- Respond to all customer queries
- Verify supplier banking details
- Maintain Bank and be first line contact for banking issues
- Make payments from our banking system
- Make international payments
- Reconciliation of Suppliers
- Maintaining the accounts system
- Reporting
- Assist in the year end audit
- Assist in budgeting
- Ad-hoc accounting task
**HR**
- Maintaining HR contracts and employee files
- Assisting in recruitment
- Advertising Roles
- Setting up of interviews
- Inductions and welcoming of new joiners
- Payroll processing
- Maintaining of HR Policies and procedures
- Statutory submissions and payments
**Administration**:
- Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
- Assistance in branding activities
- Co-ordinating and facilitating certain staff events including socials as well as assisting with special social events (Heritage Day, Women's Month, Year End Party)
- Plans, initiates, creates and maintains electronic and written communication such as newsletters, memos, with mínimal direction, using applicable company standards
**Skills / Competencies**
- Knowledge of the above finance administration tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft full suite, including excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
- Strong communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking especially in a multitasking environment
- Highly organized with a structured approach to tasks
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to prioritize effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Positive and vibrant attitude
- Must be skilled at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers, co-workers and peers, while maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information and while working under tight and often competing deadlines.
**Minimum experience required**
- 2 - 5 years' experience in an administrative/office management role with proven track record of success
**Minimum qualifications/education**
- Must have obtained Matric
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in business administration/accounting, communications or related field will be advantageous
