Operations/logistics Manager

**Job description** We are looking for an experienced Operations and Logistics Manager. You are analytical, process driven with experience of managing a warehouse and can manage logístical as well as operational aspects of a business. You will be based in Kramerville, Sandton. Your work will involve: - Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost effective manner. - Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices. - Manage warehouse and the stock management system. - Manage the fleet of vehicles in terms of repairs, license renewals and other ancillary functions. - Manage store operations to ensure business continuous smoothly. - Manage the offloading, storage and movement of goods between warehouse and stores. - Oversee delivery of goods to the stores and customers. - Ensure safety of staff and goods while managing the operations. - Liaise with vendors for fulfilment of various services. Job requirements: - Cheerful team player with a great "Can-Do" attitude. Must be dedicated to give great customer service. - Highly proficient in Microsoft Office & use of computers. - Time management. - Proven and documented experience as an operations and logistics manager. - Good communication skills (verbal and written) with technical knowledge relating to import of goods and warehouse management. - Organised, neat and careful with dedication to quality in services. - Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse management and supply chain management. - Must be in good physical condition. - May be required to work long and unpredictable hours including weekends. License/Certification: - Code 10 (preferred) **Salary**: From R9,000.00 per month **Education**: - Diploma/Degree in Operations or Logistics (required) **Experience**: - Warehouse Management: 2 years (required) OR - Operations Management: 2 years (required) **Salary**: From R9,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
