Global Applications Management Director

Reporting to the Global Chief Information Officer, the Global Director, Global Applications Management, will have the responsibility of leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional support for the CTS portfolio. This role requires the leader to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure capabilities align with requirements and successfully deliver ongoing enhancements for the CTS portfolio. Additionally, you’ll need to champion and Own the vision and strategy for GAM, specifically, and CTS overall, to ensure it aligns with the goals of the firm through establishing trusted partnerships with global and regional Business Technology Support and Transformation Program Directors.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:

- Vision and Strategy - Own and champion the vision and strategy and operations for GAM, specifically and, CTS overall, ensuring it aligns with the goals of the Firm. Establish trusted partnerships with global and regional Business Technology, Transformation Program Directors and other Firm leaders to ensure strategies align to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Service Provisioning - Ensure that the support services for GAM managed processes, data, and systems meet or exceed stakeholder expectations by delivering enhancements to GN managed processes, data and systems.
- Process and Governance - Put in place an appropriate level of governance is established and maintained for CTS, and GAM within it. This includes the continuous improvement of CTS framework and virtual team to address evolving requirements. Manage a virtual team to provide collaborative and shared approach when establishing new processes, maintain appropriate prioritization of requests, and document technical requirements for improvements to be completed by delivery teams.
- Leading and Managing People - Ensure optimal use of resources across the GAM team, optimize and maintain a high-performing team by recruitment of new talent and supporting the team through change. Also, plan for GAM demand and capacity to ensure an ability to continue to meet agreed service levels.
- Cost and Partner Management - Handle budget management and optimization to ensure expenses remain within projections and maintain relationships with key business partners.

Education, experience and certifications for this role include a minimum of 5 years of working within enterprise support models at a senior level, knowledge of enterprise systems to support Finance, Risk and Talent functions, understands enterprise architecture and common IT frameworks, understands enterprise and/or program support principles, and has commercial awareness and understands the business value required from IT investments.
