IntelliSense.io has an opportunity for a talented **Global Account Director **to join our growing team and be responsible for driving a core component of our global business growth strategy. Your main objectives will be to take ownership of selected global accounts and grow our revenue by securing new deals, upselling and renewals.
You will also work in collaboration with our regional sales teams and technical product development & marketing teams, supporting them in respective opportunities across the global accounts as well as gathering market intelligence, industry trends and feedback from customers, to improve our product market penetration.

**What you will contribute to**
Reporting directly to the CEO this role will:
- Take ownership of a small handful of global accounts (for example mining majors)
- Develop a documented global sales strategy/plan for these target accounts which you would execute at Corporate and Site level in partnership with our regional sales teams.
- Coordinate and work directly with regional (country) sales managers (and our partner, a global chemicals major) to deliver revenue from these accounts
- Work with the regional directors to articulate proposed sales strategy and seek areas of expansion where we have already landed in these accounts in their region
- Operate as an overlay role, meaning that both the regional sales manager and the global account director get recognition towards their target and paid compensation for deals that close in these global accounts
- Over time recruit a team of Global Account Managers that report into the Global Account Director
- Balance pipeline generation with deal closure by working with Marketing and Business Development to construct and execute Account-Based Marketing/Selling campaigns that generate demand from these accounts
- Investigate and implement new partnerships and approaches (e.g. equipment led sales campaigns for Thickener, Flotation equipment installs) that accelerate revenue delivery from these target accounts
- Take the lead in reporting sales progress and deal status at the bi-weekly ‘Deal Review Board’ supported by local sales teams
- Be responsible for ensuring Salesforce CRM and associated account plans are always kept up-to-date for these accounts
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Market Research - Competitor analysis and assess product market data.
- Be an IntelliSense.io ambassador for the local market and clients.
- Training of new partner sales or new country sales team members.
- Any additional work identified as necessary for the smooth running of the business on a specific territory including support on opening new offices.

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven track record of revenue attainment Prior experience of running enterprise accounts and hitting revenue goals within them.
- Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies, sales process, and buyer's journey alignment.
- Drive and lead multiple projects and priorities to completion while collaborating with multiple teams
- Ability to work cross-functionally, across time zones, and in a team and/or matrixed environment
**Education**
BA/BS/BTech degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. An MBA degree is a plus
