**Job Summary**:
Company vehicle will be available during the day when travelling to various transporters to verify goods delivered and when loading trucks, to arrange deliveries/collection to/from suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Airfreight Operations**:

- Oversee the receiving, handling, and dispatching of airfreight shipments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor shipment weight, volume, and compliance with airfreight standards.
- Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and customs to streamline airfreight logistics.
- Verification of conformity of goods delivered to purchase order.
- Ensuring appropriate packaging & labelling.

**Road Freight and Trucking Logistics**:

- Plan and manage the loading and dispatch of trucks, optimizing volume and weight capacities to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with cross-border and local road freight regulations.
- Develop efficient schedules for road freight to meet delivery deadlines.
- Verification of conformity of goods delivered to purchase order.
- Ensuring appropriate packaging & labelling.

**Cross-Border Logistics**:

- Oversee the preparation and submission of 3rd-party and customs documentation for international shipments.
- Ensure compliance with cross-border requirements, regulations, and standards.
- Resolve delays or issues related to customs or border inspections.

**Warehouse Operations**:

- Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch. Note: goods are stored at Transglobe small warehouse & 3rd party warehouse.
- Implement safety, quality, and compliance standards in warehouse operations.

**Data Management and Reporting**:

- Accurate weight & measure associated with orders.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance and areas for improvement.

**Team Leadership**:

- Manage goods receiving & loading at various warehouses & suppliers where necessary.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Manage work schedules and resource allocation to meet business needs.

**Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3rd-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to address operational challenges effectively.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Matric
- **Experience**:

- At least 5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management, including both airfreight and road freight operations.
- Proven track record in managing cross-border logistics and 3rd-party documentation.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of airfreight and road freight regulations, including truck volume and weight optimization.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Pay: R25 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
