Warehouse Coordinator

**Warehouse Co-ordinator** **Purpose** To assist the Transport Supervisor in the day to day running of the Johannesburg warehouse and assist satellite branches where necessary. Liaise with the drivers and assist when required to maintain the efficient delivery of Company services **Responsibilities**: - Monitor and assist the Transport Supervisor with stock levels at Head Office and satellite facilities so that assurance of supply for all packaging systems and equipment required for company’s packaging services are provided at the desired time and in the desired manner - Ensure replenishment orders are placed in line with supplier lead times to guarantee mínimal stock levels are always maintained - Ensure orders/packaging dispatches are processed in the most cost effective and timely manner to meet customer timescales/requirements - Maintenance of all reusable packaging systems to include receipt scanning, inspection of components, cleaning and conditioning - Capture any non-conformities/deviations and escalate to Transport Supervisor - Storage of Vehicles - ensure that each vehicle is stored in the most risk-free manner on a nightly basis - either inside or in the full view of security cameras - Driver Attire - ensure this is maintained and provided within company guidelines and drivers adhere to this policy at all times - Provide a safe & clean working environment, adhering to Company’s Health & Safety procedures at all times, ensuring these are understood and practiced by all persons accessing the warehouse - Ensure Company warehouse security procedures are adhered to at all times and maintain 100% compliance to regulations - Maintenance of all storage logs to 100% accuracy, and warehouse check sheet is completed daily, report any discrepancies to Transport Supervisor - Assist Transport Supervisor with the end of day dispatch and correctly label freight to enable freight check procedures to be completed - Liaise with Operations to ensure that freight checks are completed in a timely manner to enable loading of the night run vehicle(s) and subsequent departure in line with designated cut off times - Ensure adherence to Conditioning Gel Packs and Conditioning PCM procedures so all packaging specifications can be provided to clients in a timely manner and to maintain integrity of all cool chain solutions - Ensure Fridges, Freezers and Warm Room temperatures are checked and remain within prescribed parameters and maintain accurate records thereof and replenished on a regular basis and when required - Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt and storage of all packaging in designated areas - Organise, monitor and control goods in/out operations to ensure all "live" shipments are held/stored in the designated areas and all shipment logs are up to date and accurate - Investigate "service" failures and identify root cause and implement effective CAPA to prevent recurrence, with support of the QCT team[MP1] - Identify improvement opportunities to bring about operational efficiencies, cost reductions or service enhancements and implement accordingly - Ensure that all company/customer specific work instructions/SOP's/procedures are always adhered to - Ensure a comprehensive knowledge of all related policies, and take responsibility for security. The onus is on the warehouse coordinator to stay abreast of any policy changes and updated that may relate to this function **Requirements**: - Must have experience of working within **Pharmaceutical Logistics warehouse environment** - Proven ability to work well under time pressure - Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills and initiatives - Intermediate MS Office skills - Collaborative approach, working across functional areas and cultures\ - Use/preparation of temperature-controlled packaging solutions - Excellent communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, with a passion for providing customer service excellence [MP1]Not sure if this is the same CAPA remove if not just want to ensure they work with correct departments **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: R12,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: - Kempton Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - High School (matric) (required) **Experience**: - Pharmaceutical Logistics warehouse: 2 years (required)
