**Research & Development Chemist**: Our team in **Durban** currently has an opening for a **Research & Development Chemist** > **YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**: **Responsibilities** - Develop and modify new and existing formulations and technologies for improved performance and/or cost reduction - Prepare samples for testing, such as stability, efficacy, or safety - Identify process improvements with regard to routine lab testing - Effectively use project management techniques to drive projects to completion - Prepare specifications for raw materials and formulation - Raw material evaluation. - Provide technical support to Tolling sites - Assist with the preparation of presentations to business, customers/end-users/trade conferences - Assist with Non-conformance investigations when required - Document management on developed formulations - Lab equipment maintenance and repairs - Perform Ad hoc tasks as assigned - Comply with governance & compliance policies and procedures - Comply with Safety, Health, Quality and Environment standards **YOUR PROFILE**: **Qualification and expertise required** - Matric / Grade 12. - National Diploma in Chemistry or related field. - 2 to 3 years’ experience in R&D - Experience in Chemical & Coatings industry preferred - Sound report writing skills - Valid driver’s license and own vehicle **OUR OFFER**: > **INTERESTED?**:
