**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**:

- Preferable Grade 12 and/or Hotel qualification
- Must have at least 4 years hotel experience in medium to large 4* or 5* Hotel
- Must be Computer literate with full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, POS, Micros
- Ability to make decisions and work proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Client centric
- Very well organized with attention to detail
- Able to work shifts and Public holidays

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- To lead and guide the Servers ensuring efficient and effective teamwork.
- To communicate all service requirements to the respective team members in an efficient and effective way.
- To have full and complete knowledge of the food menu, dessert menu, coffee menu as well as all other beverage menus and the wine list.
- To be knowledgeable about menu items, ingredients, preparation methods and garnishes for all dishes.
- To be able to guide the guest through the menu and make any suggestions or recommendations in the guests’ interest.
- To be able to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way.
- Complete cashing up and handling of all payment methods.
- To ensure that all work areas and stations are always kept clean and tidy.
- To perform all opening, side and closing duties as well as all daily and weekly duties to the set standards.
- To attend pre-shift, weekly and monthly meetings to be well-informed about all events, promotions and other news.
- Effectively handle guest complaints.
- Report any shortages in equipment to the manager.
- Flexibility to work in all F&B areas
