**Paralegal - Property Legal Searches and Property History Analysis**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Property Legal Searches**: Conduct comprehensive legal searches on properties to uncover any potential legal issues, encumbrances, liens, judgments, or pending legal actions that may affect property transactions.

**Property History Analysis**: Gather and analyze historical property records, titles, deeds, surveys, and other relevant documents to assess property ownership, boundaries, and potential title defects.

**Document Management**: Organize and maintain all property-related documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for the legal team.

**Research and Due Diligence**: Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to perform due diligence on properties involved in various legal matters, such as acquisitions, sales, and disputes.

**Data Verification**: Verify the authenticity and accuracy of property-related information obtained from various sources, including public records, databases, and other reliable channels.

**Reporting**: Prepare detailed reports and summaries of property research findings, presenting the information in a clear and concise manner.

**Client Communication**: Interact with clients, real estate agents, government agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary information and clarify property-related queries.

**Case Support**: Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, drafting contracts, and providing relevant research materials to support property-related cases.

**Regulatory Compliance**: Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal real estate laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure all property transactions adhere to legal requirements.

Skills required:

- Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law and property-related matters.
- In-depth knowledge of property legal searches, title examination, and property history analysis.
- Familiarity with real estate terminology, deeds, land records, and property encumbrances.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex information.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and reliable work.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients.
- Understanding of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also collaborating as part of a team.

**Preferred Additional Qualifications**:

- Paralegal certification from a recognized institution or association.
- Experience with electronic document management systems.
- Knowledge of specific local and state real estate laws and procedures.
- Familiarity with real estate contracts and transactional processes.

Pay: R130.00 - R150.00 per hour
