Established Employee Benefits team seeks an Internal Audit Manager to join them. This business not only has a passion but a solid track record of providing service excellence to their clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gather, check and analyse data for fund accounts and financial control systems
- Gauge levels of financial risk, ensure financial reports and records are accurate and reliable
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls, safeguard financial assets and oversee programs
- Manage portfolio of funds, ensure audits of the fund runs smoothly and deadlines are met
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines
- Stay ahead of latest industry developments and changes in legislation and statutory requirements
- Organise and facilitate planning meetings, ensure team coherence and understanding of client needs
- Review audit teams work, before assigning to Senior Manager Fund Accounting for review
- Ensure clients adhere to Pension Fund Act and regulations
- Ensure investments are invested within prescribed investment strategy
- Ensure audit queries have adequately been cleared by the team
- Establish audit objectives and assist in developing audit program, estimates, plan of work, steps necessary to collect data and documents
- Review internal controls establish compliance with policies, plans procedures, laws and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position, previous employee benefit administration experience sought, or have employee benefits clients
- Must have excellent knowledge of Everest and Caseware
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct and lead an audit team well
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Advanced computer skills
