**JOB TITLE**:
Plant Controller

**REPORTS TO**:
Plant Manager

**SUBORDINATES**:
Drivers and operators

**MAIN FUNCTION**:
Control and management of yellow metal and trucks and low beds

1. **Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for all admin regarding the plant hours and kilometres, fuel, tracker, vehicle licences, etc.
- Procurement and management of diesel.
- Manage and control plant hours, rates, and operators.
- Ensure all records are kept for accurate invoicing.
- Ensure all plant and vehicles are insured and remove when either sold or written off.
- Keep licences up to date.
- Review and approve operator timesheets for payroll.
- Cost and analyse lowbed permits.
- Build up reports - plant control sheets.
- Control costs associated with moving plant and lowbeds and the general movement of trucks.
- Maintain logistics and operations about border regulations.
2. **Qualification, Competencies & Experience**:

- Min 5 years administrator experience.
- Fully computer literate.
- Knowledge of yellow Plant and tipper hire and logistics.

3. **Skills**:

- Ability to understand costing, budgets, and reports.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility in regard to working hours.
- Proactive thinker.

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
