**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preventive Maintenance**:

- Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments for shredders, digital duplicators, mono printers, color printers and franking machines.
- Ensure regular firmware updates and consumable replacement (ink, master rolls, shredder oil).
- Manage proactive consumables monitoring and timely replacements to avoid operational delays.
- **Corrective Maintenance**:

- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions within defined SLA response times (4-5 hours).
- Replace mechanical and electrical parts as needed, including rollers, print heads, and cutting shafts.
- Provide loan equipment if repair timelines exceed 48 hours.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and provide monthly usage and performance reports.
- Use remote monitoring systems to track equipment status and notify management of any urgent issues.
- **Customer Support**:

- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on proper equipment usage and maintenance best practices.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- **Technical Certification** in one or more of the following areas: office automation, digital duplicators, shredders, or franking machines.
- **Minimum 2 years of experience** in maintaining and servicing office automation equipment, including RISO digital duplicators, EBA shredders, PostBase franking machines and printers.
- **Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues** on the listed equipment types.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and proactive maintenance software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment (up to 50kg) and working on mechanical components.
- **Strong communication skills** and ability to train users effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Free State Province.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with **RISO digital duplicators** (e.g., SF5350, SF9390 models) and **EBA shredders**.
- Knowledge of **PostBase franking machines** and postal security device regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
