**Job Summary**:
The welder will be required to support the business and actively support production.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Matric**:

- **Relevant Welding Qualification**:

- **Must have TIG & ARC Welding experience**

**Responsibilities**:

- Welding and/or brazing to fixtures or parts so located as to obviate the need for a fixture (weld length not to exceed 55mm and material thickness not to exceed 2,5mm)
- Repetitive soft soldering and/or sweating
- Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as the shielded metal arch and gas metal arc welding equipment
- Read drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with a power saw to match measurements)
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded, and align components using calipers, rulers, and clamp pieces
- Weld 120 coil welds in a normal working per day
- Promote and maintain awareness and compliance with health and safety in accordance with company policy
- Ensure the company’s health and safety policies are adhered to at all times
- Ensure a clean, safe and healthy working environment is maintained
