We are looking for a responsible welder who will be assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal structures and components using various welding techniques. They work in construction, manufacturing, and industrial settings, ensuring that metal parts are securely joined and meet safety and quality standards.
- **Read and Interpret Blueprints & Specifications**:

- Analyze technical drawings and welding instructions.
- Determine the appropriate welding method for each project.
- **Perform Welding Operations**:

- Weld metal components using MIG, TIG, arc, and other welding techniques.
- Operate welding machines, torches, and other related tools.
- **Inspect & Repair Welds**:

- Examine completed welds for defects and ensure strength and precision.
- Make necessary adjustments and repairs to meet quality standards.
- **Prepare and Set Up Workpieces**:

- Cut, shape, and position metal parts before welding.
- Use grinders, saws, and drills for material preparation.
- **Ensure Safety Compliance**:

- Wear protective gear, including helmets, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Follow workplace safety regulations and welding codes.
- **Maintain Welding Equipment**:

- Inspect and maintain welding tools and machines.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report necessary repairs.
- **Work with Different Metals & Materials**:

- Weld steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals.
- Understand material properties to prevent warping and defects.
- **Collaborate with Other Trades & Teams**:

- Work with engineers, fabricators, and construction workers to complete projects.
- Communicate project progress and welding requirements effectively.

**Job Specifications:Qualifications & Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Certification in welding or relevant field (AWS, ASME, or equivalent is a plus).
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
