You are an expert at plant operation and tank gauging.
You are passionate about plant operation and distillation process.
You have excellent plant operational skills
You have a reputation for safe plant operation with high focus on HSEQ What you’ll have done before:
**Baseline**:
At least 5 years operations related experience with 3 of these linked to plant operation
Matic with math’s and science preferred or equivalent work experience.
Exceptional operational skills and tank gauging.
Deep knowledge of Boiler, Furnace and Distillation process.
Experience working with Boiler, Furnaces and compressors.

**Advantageous**:
NQF level 4
Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
Advanced operational skill or desire to acquire same.
What you will be doing
Proactively involved with day-to-day plant operation.
Working with maintenance team to ensure monthly PMR is being done.
Measuring tank levels and reporting to PCT, routine plant checks, equipment checks and assisting with the monitoring and care of safety equipment in your plant of operation.
Creating opportunities for improvement in your plant of operation.
Maximizing Solvents production to meet market demand.
You’ll create SAP request and report any faults while operating the plant and inform PCT
You'll leverage on senior operations and area manager for guidance Exciting Challenges you might face in the role
Applies knowledge of the Solvents marketplace to advance the organisation’s operational goals.
Driving the Solvents operation and production.
Creates opportunities to improve the Solvents process.
Effectively operating the Solvents manufacturing Complex with high focus on HSEQ
Operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear
