Role Specific Knowledge:

- Information Management/Technology or Computer Science discipline career
- Knowledge and experience in product development & design
- Data analytical tools and techniques to create accurate management reports for decision-making
- Understanding of the key principles of the AA Operating Model
- Business improvement tools and techniques
- Mining sector knowledge
- High level knowledge of enterprise data and has demonstrated success of working with data sources in mining, oil and gas, geoscience or similar disciplines, data integration, data lake and data quality workflows
- Application lifecycle management
- Stakeholder engagement to enable aligned goals

Operations:

- Proficient: Application lifecycle management
- Proficient: Cloud and Hybrid Cloud computing (PaaS and IaaS)
- Advanced: Experience with agile project management methods and practices
- Advanced: Understanding of Big Data workflows and related technology
- Proficient: Application solution architecture
- Proficient: systematic, knowledge-based problem-solving approach and structured methodologies (such as root cause analysis and statistical analysis) to investigate risks and opportunities to create effective, value-add technical solutions.
- Proficient: in-depth understanding of the mining value chain to identify and execute on opportunities here technical expertise can enhance business performance

Management:

- Proficient: Communicate and work effectively in relevant global settings.
- Proficient: Agile project management methods and practices
- Proficient: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a complex environment and work to deadlines
- Proficient: Working with cross-geographical teams and cultures
