The role specifically requires the Junior Conceptual Designer to show strength and interest in taking a space plan and Revit model, and developing the existing layout into 3D Rendering views, with furniture, decorative elements, and joinery.
- Brief unpacking.
- Zoning and colour blocking (Planning assistance).
- 24hr Test-Fits (Quick & Dirties).
- Independent case-studies, influence, and reference sourcing, to help develop the space plan holistically and motivate layouts.
- General Arrangements (1 or more options).
- Understanding of the User Experience, navigation through the space.
- Isometric Views.
- 3D Camera Views.
- Photoshop renders with colour-ups.
- Realistic 3D Rendering (Enscape or Sketchup).

- Revit Program Knowledge (Advanced or preferred program)
- Program Navigation
- Sheet Set-ups
- New Floorplan Set-ups
- Joinery (Custom Families)
- Camera View Setting up
- Basic Construction Drawing Set-ups and standards.
- Exporting Camera Views (Jpegs)
- Assigning materials and finishes to models in Revit.
- Exporting Layouts (Jpegs and as PDF Sheets)
- Basic understanding of ergonomics and anthropometrics, user experience basics.
- Basic understanding of construction finishes and materiality for Interior Design.
- Readability of MEP plans and Lighting. (Can be developed)
- Design Options
- Company saving standards.
- Title block navigation
- BIMS Collaboration (Saving and Navigation)
- Zoning / Colour Blocking
- Readability of MEP plans and Lighting. (Can be developed)
- AutoCAD Program Knowledge (Basic)
- PowerPoint (Basic)
- Photoshop (Advanced/Proficient)

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (desirable)
- 2-4 years' relevant experience (essential) Experience in the interior design industry is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of Revit (essential) and Enscape or Sketchup (Enscape preferred)
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop (Editing and rendering (essential))
- Demonstrated experience in creating highly detailed and accurate 3D models of interior spaces, custom furniture, custom joinery, and decorative elements.
- Knowledge and practice in Construction Plans (can develop these skills, but knowledge and drawing practice is required)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with a team of designers and architects.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Should showcase an eagerness to learn, to grow and to take input well.
- Driven to explore new creative ways of design and the current trends within workplace design and hospitality.

Working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Willing to travel if required.

**Salary**: Up to R20 000,00 per month
