Junior Interior Architect Location: Cape Town, South Africa Employment Type: Full‑time We are SelfMade, a dynamic interior design firm delivering innovative and high‑quality residential and commercial spaces both locally and internationally. We value creativity, collaboration, and professional growth. We are looking for a talented Interior Architect with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. You will assist in designing, planning, and executing interior projects while learning from experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing interior design concepts and layouts. Create sketches, floor plans, elevations, and simple 3D visualizations. Support senior designers in producing construction drawings. Research and recommend materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting options. Assist in coordinating with contractors and suppliers. Conduct occasional supervised site visits to monitor project progress. Support project documentation, including schedules, reports, and client presentations. Apply building regulations, safety standards, and local design codes. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in interior architecture, Architecture, or related field. 1–3 years of professional experience in interior architecture or interior design projects. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Twinmotion. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other visualization tools. Understanding of interior materials, finishes, and construction methods. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team. Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
