Design Draughtsman(Mechanical)

**Requirements**:

- Experience: 5 to 15 years.
- Qualifications: Relevant draughting qualification advantageous.
- Professional Registrations: Not required.
- Software: Microsoft Office (proficient)(excel, word, outlook), Nesting Software (any but not critical), any 3D design package (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred).
- Proficient in both English and Afrikaans. (Crucial)
- Notice period: Not more than 1 month.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reports to engineering manager.
- Product development and design.
- Take on complete projects from start to finish including special projects.
- Load distributions and general arrangement drawings.
- Assist in implementing drawing standards/processes/documentation etc.
- Maintain products/databases/standards/administration etc.
- Assist production and repair departments as needed.
- Create nestings for plasma from time to time.
- Assist with day-to-day requirements.
- Data capturing and filing.
- Bills of materials.
- Maintain good interdepartmental communications and relations.

- Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
