**Job Summary**

We are seeking a hands-on Service & Workshop Technician to join our Benoni-based team. You will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and calibrating ITH bolting tools and accessories to ensure they meet OEM and safety standards. The role also includes occasional field service support at customer sites.

**Responsibilities**
- Service, repair, and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric bolting tools and pumps.
- Perform calibration of torque wrenches and tensioning equipment according to ITH procedures.
- Complete accurate service and calibration documentation.
- Prepare tools for dispatch and maintain workshop readiness.
- Manage and track spare parts and consumables.
- Support field service operations (commissioning, troubleshooting, on-site maintenance).
- Follow all health, safety, and quality requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Trade Test or N6/National Diploma in Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a workshop, service, or calibration environment.
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and torque tools.
- Computer literate (MS Office, XERO).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.
- Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and reliable.

**Advantages**
- Experience with bolting tools, torque/tension calibration, or ISO 9001 environments.
- Field service experience in power generation, mining, wind energy or construction.
- Technical understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic torque and tensioning tools.
- Ability to read & understand drawings.
- Ability to do case studies.
