JOB TITLE:
Clinical Statistics Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To process quantitative and qualitative clinical data, design statistical and reporting solutions to

measure clinical performance and suggest analytical approaches and methodologies to

improve clinical outcomes and advises on clinical performance measurement strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Analyse clinical data using statistical modelling and analysis techniques to enable

Clinical Outcomes Measurement

Liaise with clinical teams to collect, and document reporting requirements and create

and manage interactive dashboard solutions

Leverage on clinical data to define and translate clinical requirements into technical

specifications and data solutions

Effectively communicate insights from data using narratives and creative data

visualisation techniques

Build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL: BSc Quantitative Management / Statistics / Biostatistics and /or Mathematics

DESIRED: Post Graduate Qualification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL: 5 years relevant working experience

DESIRED: Experience in the healthcare industry working with clinical data.

Clinical background

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge and programming skills in statistical software packages (e.g. R, Python,

SAS)

Attention to detail and accuracy

Exceptional computer skills and all-around technologically adept

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with team members

Ability to query and analyse large data sets

Exceptional presentation and data storytelling skills

Applied data analytics within a healthcare environment

High level of initiative and self-motivation

Strong numerical and problem solving skills

Experience in developing and working with dashboards (e.g. Tableau)
