What will you do? Apply the full software development life‑cycle to applications used in a Business Intelligence environment – analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation and maintenance of statistical models used in the healthcare industry. Implement flexible data handling solutions using a variety of database management systems, generate reports from data and provide analytic support. Develop and maintain the programs and processes that allow for the accurate grouping of data according to specified requirements. Apply appropriate statistical and actuarial model‑building techniques, interpret correctly and improve knowledge. Extract data and perform statistical and actuarial analysis within service level agreements. Produce the relevant documentation as per agreed timelines and formats, while ensuring accuracy and validity. Create and adhere to new standard operating procedures and guidelines. Implement practical solutions that use specialist and departmental systems and processes. Provide specialist input and recommendations to improve efficiency, compliance and quality objectives related to the area of specialisation. The time taken to complete this process will depend on how far you progress and the availability of line managers. Qualifications and Experience 2‑3 years of statistical analyst experience. Studying toward a degree with majors in actuarial science, statistics or mathematics. Skills Statistical analysis, modelling and reporting. Data gathering and analysis.
