Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking an IT Operations Manager to join their team in Sandton. They offer stability, growth, attractive salary along with benefits and an excellent working environment.

As an IT Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of our internal infrastructure. This will include managing all aspects of our technology including servers, networks and databases. You'll also manage all technical staff on a rotational basis to ensure that they are well trained in their respective roles and can take over from you when required.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Microsoft Azure optimization planning and execution (Rightsizing, Enhancements and Improvements)
- Ensures availability of hardware, software, and networking infrastructure to perform their basic functions
- Proposes solutions to identified problems and assesses effectiveness of technology solutions.
- Reviews technical documentation provided by vendors, updates on new products, and equipment capabilities.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation
- Identifies and resolves challenges with the use of technology
- Manages the team responsible for providing services to the business
- Proven people developer with a passion for managing and growing teams who can lead a diverse high-performance team
- Experience in Microsoft Azure Architecture, Design and Strategy and added advantage
- Solid understanding of IT Security and Networking including, Azure Security and Azure Networking
- Managing Hybrid Cloud and Multi-technology environments is an advantage
- Contract and financial skills including, Microsoft Azure spend and consumption analysis
- Team Player and ability to collaborate to find solutions

**Qualifications**
- 8 to 10 years in IT Operations Management experience with a strong background in networking and systems administration managing hybrid cloud and multi-technology environments is an advantage
- 3 to 5 years experience on Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft and Microsoft Azure required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology will be an added advantage
- ITIL certification will be an added advantage
