**Minimum Requirements**:

- Valid SANC licence
- Degree/Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
- Nursing Education qualification serves as an advantage
- Strong clinical competence - at least 2 - 3 years clinical experience as a Professional Nurse within a private hospital environment
- 1 - 2 years experience as a peer mentor/workplace assessor
- Facilitation skills
- Assessment skills
- Infection prevention and control (IPC) principles and protocols
- Clinical risk management skills
- Excellent knowledge of all nursing processes and procedures
- Continuous improvement and quality assurance methodologies
- Good knowledge of relevant nursing legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Job description**: To plan and facilitate identified training and development interventions to ensure competency of all nursing staff working for MHR.
- Develop the competence of nursing staff at the client
- Identify training needs to guide the development of appropriate clinical training interventions
- Facilitates training and learning by establishing a learning culture
- Applies quality management principles to training interventions
- Promote a culture of continuous professional development
