**Job Description** AECOM **is seeking a **BIM Manager - Water Plants, **this position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM and Information Management on projects for our Global Enterprise Capabilities Digital Team. This position offers a flexible work option to include a combination of both office and remote work schedules and can be based from any one of our 4 South Africa locations, (Pretoria,Centurion / KwaZulu-Natal,Durban / Western Cape, Bellville / Free State, Bloemfontein).

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- BIM Implementation Strategy - develop BIM Implementation strategy & deliver complex international projects.
- CDE Management - establish & administer the CDE & support efficient management of multi-stakeholder projects.
- Project Management - coordinate BIM execution & project delivery with project leadership.
- BIM Execution - create & maintain the project’s industry framework docs: BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices etc.
- Technical Support - establish data-integrated workflows for Water Plant projects & provide support, guidance & training to project teams.
- Digital Technology & Content Management - oversee the production of smart object content, templates & libraries in the context of the project, deploy the use of AECOM’s content management system (Autodesk Content Catalogue/UNIFI) onto projects and manage the best practice use of digital technology for collaboration, coordination & delivery.
- Quality - establish & administer the digital quality assurance control procedures.
- Collaboration - be an ambassador for a global group working with AECOM region project teams, Enterprise Capabilities office disciplines & other Enterprise Capabilities Digital departments.

As a member of the Global Enterprise Capabilities team, you will work with leaders from around the Globe region to engrain and define our digital services, to share best practices, to leverage global capabilities and to support North America opportunities and projects. While services and solution management will be set globally, they will be tailored for implementation within the regions, individual business line verticals, and for each client.

This role will work closely with regional and global digital leadership to build and expand the impact of our growing team of digital professionals in infrastructure markets.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree in either Industrial or Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural or Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline project execution experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience in the BIM and Digital Delivery field. Must have previous formal multidiscipline BIM Manager/Coordinator role experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 19650 framework and related BIM standards
- Experience managing and delivering project information on multidisciplinary Water projects (Specifically Water Plants) with geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience delivering BIM data from BIM software such as **any of the following**:

- Autodesk Plant 3D,
- Bentley OpenPlant,
- Autodesk Revit,
- Autodesk Civil3D,
- Autodesk Advanced Steel
- Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Bentley ProjectWise
- Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management and an advanced user of any of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto, ACC Model Coordination.
- Strong background in technical production of 3D and 2D model deliverables for Water Plant projects.
