Procurement Manager

A leading **hotel group** is seeking a skilled professional to oversee and manage **group-wide procurement processes**, ensuring cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards across all properties.

**Job Purpose**:
The **Procurement Manager** will be responsible for developing and implementing **procurement strategies**, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that all goods and services are sourced **efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with company policies**. The role requires a proactive approach to **cost control, risk management, and process optimization** to support operational success.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Procurement Planning**
- Develop and execute **procurement strategies** aligned with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for **cost savings and process improvements** across all properties.
- Prepare **procurement budgets and forecasts** to support operational requirements.

**2. Supplier Relationship Management**
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with **reliable suppliers**.
- Negotiate **cost-effective contracts**, ensuring optimal pricing, terms, and service levels.
- Conduct **supplier performance reviews**, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.

**3. Procurement Process Management**
- Oversee the **end-to-end procurement cycle**, from sourcing to purchase orders, delivery, and payment.
- Ensure **compliance with procurement policies and procedures** across all properties.
- Manage **tendering and supplier selection processes** to secure the best value.

**4. Cost Control and Budget Management**
- Monitor **procurement spend**, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Analyze **market trends and supplier pricing** to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Implement strategies to drive **cost savings and operational efficiency**.

**5. Coordination Across Departments and Units**
- Work closely with **General Managers and department heads** to meet their procurement needs.
- Ensure **standardized purchasing processes** across all properties for efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with **finance teams** to maintain accurate procurement records and supplier payments.

**6. Compliance and Risk Management**
- Ensure **compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards**.
- Manage **procurement-related risks**, including supplier dependency and delivery challenges.
- Maintain thorough **documentation for audits and internal reviews**.

**7. Reporting and Performance Monitoring**
- Develop **procurement reports**, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and order tracking.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on **procurement activities and savings initiatives**.
- Support **internal audits** and deliver insights on procurement efficiency.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum **5 years of procurement experience**, preferably in the **hospitality or hotel industry**:

- **Bachelor’s degree** in **Supply Chain Management, Business Administration**, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience managing procurement across **multiple locations or properties**:

- Knowledge of **procurement regulations and legal requirements**
