**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the leasing process for all properties in the portfolio, including marketing, property viewings, lease negotiations, and lease signing.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on local market trends and competition.
- Respond to inquiries from potential tenants and schedule property viewings.
- Screen potential tenants and conduct background and credit checks to ensure suitability.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and legal documents are completed and filed.
- Negotiate lease terms with tenants and draft lease agreements.
- Handle tenant move-in and move-out processes, including conducting property inspections and coordinating repairs and maintenance.
- Build and maintain relationships with tenants to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and maintenance, to ensure that properties are properly maintained and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience would be an added benefit.
- Proven work experience as a Leasing Agent/Manager.
- Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with the Johannesburg property market and municipal laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (preferred).
