Our client in the pharmaceutical Industry is looking for a suitable Junior Applicants who,

are invited for the above-indicated vacancy that exists in the Consumer Division. The incumbent will

report to the Marketing Manager: Consumer Division.

**OBJECTIVE**
- This is a Junior role for someone who initially would start with performing the functions of a marketing assistant, with a view to grow them into a junior brand manager.
- **MUST** be aged 25 - 30 years old.
- **This Must have a marketing degree**. **(this is non-negotiable)**
- Someone hungry to learn, someone who is self-disciplined & a go getter, enthusiastic, high energy, admin driven, someone not afraid to get their ‘hands dirty’.
- To support the Consumer Marketing division in the efficient and effective running of the brand marketing strategies, tactics & initiatives in the OTC & Consumer Division to ensure portfolio market share growth and ROI.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Administrative Functions
- Assisting in sourcing favourable quotations, loading quotations for approval and the dissemination
- of purchase orders to the relevant vendors & suppliers,
- Payment of supplier invoices
- Development and management of POS and branded material stock control file.
- Management of stock on hand of POS & branded materials.
- Overseeing effective and timeous distribution of materials to sales team.
- Assist in preparation and execution of divisional strategies at cycle meetings/conferences.
- Management of cost budgets and monthly presentations thereof.
- Managing adhoc activations, donations, hamper requirements.
- Assisting in the selection of suitable activations promoters.
- Brand Management Functions
- Management of selected promoted lines within the portfolio.
- Management of promotional spend.
- Assisting in overseeing annual brand plan development to ensure alignment with
- divisional plans.
- Tracking & driving achievement of sales budgets & P&L objectives.
- Allocating appropriate time in the field with team leaders and reps to understand
- customer & competitor insights as well as team support requirements.
- Management of portfolio social media presence, timeous approval of brand content
- calendars, receiving & reviewing statistics, and performance. Assist in the successful launch of new products.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

**EDUCATION**:

- Matric
- Under-graduate marketing qualification
- EXPERIENCE:

- 1 - 2 years in experience in a marketing role, specifically in the complementary space of retail pharmacy.
- Having prior sales & marketing experience in consumer, originator, and generic
- healthcare segments is advantageous.
