We Are Hiring: Assistant Brand Manager

Position Overview

Within a growing portfolio that includes some of South Africa's biggest brands, the Assistant Brand Manager will play a critical role in planning and executing marketing activities. This position supports both short-term sales objectives and long-term brand growth across multiple product categories. It's an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, agile, and successful marketing team and make a real impact. We're seeking someone who is passionate about building brands, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes initiative to solve problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Brand Manager in executing strategies that drive sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Manage elements of the marketing mix to strengthen consumer, shopper, and trade engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, supply chain, and external agencies to ensure seamless brand execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform brand plans.
  • Assist in the development and rollout of promotional campaigns, product launches, and packaging updates.
  • Track and report on brand performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with the personal care industry is advantageous but not essential.

Essential Criteria

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (IMM Diploma or equivalent accepted).

Graduates from major national universities or colleges with relevant FMCG marketing experience.

Experience of 1–3 years in a brand assistant or similar role within the FMCG sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
