Mascor (John Deere): Debtors Assistant

Mascor is looking for a debtor's assistant to deal with all transactional records of customer accounts.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Administration

i. Follow-up on debtors-related issues

ii. Reconcile all debtor accounts.

iii. Maintain debtor files and supporting documents.

iv. Update and maintain debtor master data.

v. Report outstanding debtors to the Credit manager on a regular basis as required.

2. Month-end procedures

i. Prepare and post rental income invoices.

ii. Prepare and distribute debtor’s statements monthly.

iii. Prepare monthly invoices.

iv. Prepare interest journals.

v. Balance and clear internal accounts.

vi. Receipting and allocating payments.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
a. Qualifications:
i. Min: Grade 12

ii. Ideal: Diploma in Cost and Management Accounting

b. Experience:
i. 3 Years in a similar role will be advantageous

c. KEY COMPETENCIES

a. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position will be advantageous.

b. Planning skills

c. Able to operate under pressure.

d. Good communications skills

e. Time management skills

f. Accurate and precise
