Marketing Administrator

Duties will include, but is not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with social media management, including posting content, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries
- Assist in the coordination of marketing projects and campaigns, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, and promotional items
- Coordinate logistics for marketing events, trade shows, and conferences, including venue bookings, travel arrangements, and shipping of materials.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support marketing initiatives and identify new opportunities.
- Maintain and update marketing databases, including contact lists, customer records, and campaign data
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Marketing Administration
- Experience in an administrative function in a marketing department.
- Logistics experience would be advantageous
**Knowledge**:
- Understanding of basic graphic design principles and experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Awareness of market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape in the industry.
- Ability to interpret and analyse marketing data to inform decision-making and measure campaign effectiveness.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and proficiency in using office productivity software.
- Understanding of administrative processes and procedures, including scheduling, filing, and record-keeping.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document management
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and resolve challenges in a timely manner.
- Creativity and innovation to contribute ideas and suggestions for improving marketing processes and initiatives
- Proficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with marketing software and tools.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
**Salary**: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
