Sales and Distribution Manager

Our company is growing rapidly and is looking to fill the role of Distribution & Sales manager. To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
**Duties and Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the sales and distribution team in line with the developed strategy and allocate resources to ensure successful execution.
- Provide sales and distribution management expertise to drive optimal merchandising position in terms of availability, visibility, brand building and pricing.
- Engage with buyers and other stakeholders in the sales and distribution chain to ensure successful implementation of the strategy, projects, trade programs and other outputs.
- Conduct negotiations such as listings, ranging, planograms and displays, promotional execution at national/regional and/or store level.
- Conduct national/regional business meetings with buyers, DC Managers and sales partners, taking control of pricing and the P&L.
- Lead key account and other trade channel management strategies and embed practices and guidelines in all programs, projects and initiatives.
- Explore opportunities to enhance the organisations relevance in all trade channels (with a primary focus on the Key Account Channel) and ensure that all brands are correctly listed and arranged in line with channel needs, consumer type and brand specifics.
**Educational requirements**
- University Degree Level - Bachelors or relevant tertiary qualification.
**Experience required**:
- Senior Sales and Distribution Management experience (3-5 years).
- Project Management experience.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry & Retail experience.
- Understanding of the Key Accounts corporate framework.
- Demonstrated track record of growth and strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical, numerical and commercial skills.
- Cross functional understanding and ability to integrate with site operational team
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: R50,000.00 - R65,000.00 per month
