**The IIE’s Vega, Cape Town Campus has a vacancy for a Part-Time Academic Navigator (Lecturer) for the second semester in the following module**:

- Interior Design Construction 3B

**Job Purpose**:

- Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.

**Preferred Qualification Requirements**:

- BA Honours in Interior Design (NQF 8)
- BSc Honours in Interior Architecture (NQF 8)
- MTech in Interior Design (NQF 9)
- MA in Interior Design (NQF 9)
- M (Int) Prof (NQF 9)
- M (Int) by research (NQF 9)
- MTech in Architecture (NQF 9)
- M (Arch) Prof (NQF 9)
- MA in Design (UJ- Interior design specialization) (NQF 9)
- PhD (Architecture) (NQF 10)
- PhD (Interior Architecture) (NQF 10)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (NQF level 8) with an undergraduate qualification in the field of Interior design/architecture or Architecture.

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- Interior design/interior architecture/Architecture studio experience
- Recommended: Lecturing experience, Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit experience
- Portfolio required to show example of work.
