To organize and oversee all security operations of our company.
- Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Controlling budgets for security operations and monitoring expenses
- Recruiting, training, and supervising security officers and guards
- Ensure that all security personnel are Psira registered before they can be hired and deployed. Must also ensure that Psira certificates are monitored on a daily/monthly basis and that those that expire are renewed.
- Attend meetings with the client and represent the company.
- Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
- Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.
- Compile/review reports on incidents and breaches
- Investigate and resolve issues.
- Create reports for management on security status.
- Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
- Management of employees during shifts. i.e. planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing work in every aspect of operations.
- Evaluate special security requirements of high-risk areas and provide technical advice.
- Teaches and enforce Health & safety and security regulations at the work site.
- All incidents must be reported to the National Project Manager, Client, within 4 hours and the incident report is to be completed and submitted within 24 hours.
- Establishes security patrol priorities.
- Assigns tasks and supervises the work activities of subordinates.
- Evaluate and document employees' performance and provide feedback.
- Submit an updated name list of security officers per site monthly.
- Submit duty rosters and time sheets monthly.
- All sites must be posted as per the scope provided by the client.
- Prepares shift schedules (duty roster) and approves leave and overtime use, to ensure continuous coverage.
- Review utilization and maintenance of security equipment and check their serviceability.
- Prepares daily periodic and monthly reports.
- Takes predetermined action and renders first aid in emergencies such as accidents, fire, and illness.
- Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
- Maintain and recommend changes or improvements in the recordkeeping system for security guard activities.
- Maintain and issue uniforms and equipment (uniform issuing forms, uniform return forms to be submitted to logistics 5 days after receiving such.
- Be accountable for all eventualities during his/her shift.
- To train the security personnel in all security drills and security procedures.
- Liaise with relevant institutions about any incidents that occur. i.e. Supervisors, Clients, SAPS, Fire Stations Ambulances, etc.
- Provide Ad hoc duties as per request.
- To manage Supervisors and all the sites as per SARS. e.g., Supervisor’s visits, Parades, Handover, Patrols, and equipment are being conducted on all sites. This includes the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- To make site visits on each site of the client within your region. Conduct a minimum of 8 x site visits during the day and 4 x during the night on all sites per Month. During the site visit, you must complete the site inspection sheet (WF-44)
- When visiting the sites you must go inside and check the branch/site managers always.
- To complete the dashboard monthly and make sure it reaches the National Project Manager on the 3rd of each with all supporting documents
Pay: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
