We are looking for an experienced Motion Graphic Team Lead to join a passionate team creating content for a leader in the networking and technology space. The motion graphics team lead will have the day to day responsibilities of conceptualising, creating and editing video content, they will also have the added responsibility of having the video team reporting to them. They will be expected to not only understand strategies, business problems and briefs, but to also communicate these effectively with the video team. As such they will take ownership of video projects, review the work of the video team, provide creative feedback, maintain the highest quality of work, ensuring deadlines are met as well as be the primary point of contact for external vendors in regards to video and motion graphics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understand strategies, briefs, and translate these into creative solutions and executions
- Collaborate with the creative team and client service to conceptualise and execute ideas
- Review work and provide feedback to team members
- Manage time effectively and adhere to deadlines
- Ability to work under a significant amount of pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Liaise with the traffic department to ensure that job deadlines are adhered to
- Have a strong understanding of video editing and motion graphic principles
- Craft and finish projects to the highest possible standard of artwork
- Understand corporate identities and maintain brand consistency
- Brief and art direct photographers, photo/video shoots & illustrators
- Review work with the Creative Director, Strategy team and Account Managers
- Be a strong team player, work well within a team environment and be a support to fellow team members
- Be open minded and have the ability to embrace change

**Education & Skills**:

- Relevant Degree or diploma
- 10+ years industry experience
- A strong portfolio
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Graphic design, art direction, retouching/photo-manipulation & storyboarding experience
- Expertise in the Adobe Suite (After effects, Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign) and related software
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint
