Business Need/Purpose of Role:
This role is responsible for preparing and inspection of moulds on the casting bay. They ensure that moulds are prepared in such a way that will optimize the casting process.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Matric (Grade 12)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic Computer Literacy

Minimum Experience:

- 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of product parts

Key Tasks:

- Gr parts from Foundry to the Yard
- Do painting touches on Sprayed castings
- To run receiving report & sort all issues with Receiving team
- Do cycle counts
- Manage WIP ageing & Critical parts in the Foundry
- Maintain 6’s at Gr area
- Adherence to all statutory HSE and housekeeping / 5S requirements
- Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times

Minimum Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, SOPs
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Mathematical skills
