**Job Overview**:
**The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing the payroll in compliance with legislative requirements whilst building and maintaining sustainable relationships with stakeholders. As well as to assist the Finance team with all administrative duties and projects pertaining to payroll.**
- Facilitate the development and maintenance of filing systems, to meet administrative, legal and financial requirements.
- Prepare audit files for internal and external audits.
- Compile month end and other files for the Manager: Finance.
- Provide cross-functional support in administrative tasks to the procurement and finance team as required, in order to drive effectiveness and business continuity.
- Assist with broker administration end-to-end function when required.
- Timely and accurate payroll payment processing
- Input on the payroll system Earnings, Deductions, Company contributions, perks
- Participate in payroll audits including audits by government authority e.g. SARS or Labour department.
- Updates to employee information (financial and statistical).
- Matric
- HR or Commerce Qualification (Diploma / Degree)
- 5 years Payroll Administration experience (3 years in managerial position)
- Knowledge of LRA and BCEA
- Exposure to Sage People 300 (Advantageous)
- Experience in Payroll Outsourcing Environment (Advantageous)
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Attention to Detail
- Comfortable with working night shift hours
- Criminal and Credit Clear

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
