- Conduct security checks on all personnel, cargo, and equipment boarding the vessel
- Collaborate with other security team members to ensure a cohesive and effective security plan
- Stay up-to-date on all security procedures and protocols, and make recommendations for improvements as needed
- Communicate effectively with crew members and shore staff regarding any security concerns or incidents
- Report any security breaches or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities
- Assist with the training and development of new security team members as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is preferred
- Knowledge of maritime security procedures and protocols is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Physically fit and able to perform security duties on board a vessel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must hold a valid security guard license/certification

Pay: From R9 000,00 per month
