**purpose**:
To provide expertise, advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics to guard against the threat of data breaches and information security concerns on a daily basis in order to enable a solid information security architecture as a preventative measure.

**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualification - Bachelor Degree or equivalent in a related field such as Information Security or Computer Engineering
- Preferred Qualification - CISSP with Concentrations, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, ITIL
- Experience - 8 to 10 years in Information Security
- Knowledge of Cyber or information security
- Good communication skills
- Background in Security Products and Technologies
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules
- Experience in architecting enterprise level solutions
- High availability architecture
- Windows and Linux Operating systems
- Experience in the Financial sector advantageous
- Leadership experience advantageous
- Cloud Security solutions experience advantageous

- Assist Business with consuming Security Solutions as a Service
- Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters
- Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
- Anticipate and meet the needs of clients and commit to continuous development and entrenchment of a customer service culture
- Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values
- Integrate business information, and compare, analyse and produce reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes
- Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence
- Evaluate new solutions for implementation in the organisation
