**Tutor Position**

About REACH:
REACH has been established more than 20 years ago and our goal is to give our kiddies the tools and responses to be able to be completely independent in a neurotypical environment. We have had many successful stories of children starting with our program and going to mainstream schools at the end, without any support and being independent.

We are an organization that provides therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental delay as well as other disabilities. Our tutors work one on one with a child to ensure therapy hours are met for efficient improvement in skills and responding.

Thus, **this not an au pair job and you will play a main role in ensuring our kiddies have a future**. Therapy is intensive, needing prior planning of each session and giving it your ALL. It is a lot of work, but if you have the heart and passion to change children’s future, this is the job for you.

Extensive training will be provided, and constant support will be at your exposal to ensure you can be the best version to aid in their journeys.

**General**:
2 positions available in Durbanville (One in the morning and one in the afternoon)

As mentioned, therapy is extensive, play-based and data driven. Therefor you have to be energetic in nature and be able to play alongside the kiddies as well as being able to back up your sessions with data.

Planning your sessions are essential in aiding you to be at the top of your game.

Materials will be provided by the families and training will be provided by REACH.

**Requirements**:
Previous experience working with children on the spectrum would be beneficial

Psychology or Education degree or studying towards these would be beneficial

Passion for children and their future

Registered vehicle and valid drivers license

Matric

Compassionate and patient

**Commitment to REACH for at least one year**

**Salary**: R100.00 - R110.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
