Malaika House, a dynamic education and developmental centre in Durbanville, is looking for a dedicated Facilitator to join our team starting January 2025.

Whilst we are not a school, we focus on providing tailored support for neurodivergent children, including those with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Our aim is to help each child succeed academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support autistic children and other neurodevelopmental conditions in their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a positive and caring environment for learners, parents, and staff.
- Actively contribute to Malaika House’s vision of expanding support for neurodivergent children and families over the next decade.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working with neurodivergent children (PDA experience is an advantage).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); Afrikaans essential; isiXhosa is an added advantage.
- Excellent IT skills and technological knowledge.
- A self-motivated individual with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- A team player who values collaboration and shares our passion for creating a supportive, inclusive environment.

Pay: From R7 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Neurodiversity: 1 year (preferred)
- Teaching / Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
- Working with kids: 1 year (required)
