Communications Co-ordinator

**Job Purpose**:
To drive the strategic imperatives by supporting the group communications and corporate affairs function. The position is responsible for managing, maintaining and co-ordinating both internal and external communication channels, platforms, campaigns, and the communication diary for ADvTECH.
It includes the CSI group repository and related communications as well as general administration for the department.
**Responsibilities**:
**Objective 1 - **Communication platforms and channels**:
Manage and maintain the group communication repositories and distribution lists for communication purposes. Creative user-friendly guidelines and specific projects communication campaigns to support and ensure accurate and updated information is available on a quarterly basis.
- Ensure that communication and promotional items adhere to the group’s style and corporate identity guides. Manage annual campaign-specific.
- Act as an ambassador for ADvTECH and manage or direct first-line communication and follow-through on issues - in line with stakeholder engagement best practice and policy, to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner with regard to group communication channels and platforms as indicated above. Templates (e.g., CEO roadshow and annual financial reporting campaign PowerPoint templates). Basic design and development required.
**Objective 2 - Internal Communications, Corporate affairs projects and team**:
- Implement, manage, and update various internal communication campaigns in support of the internal communication specialist and group communication manager.
- In consultation with the Internal Communication Specialist and / or Communications Manager and project lead - monitor, measure, recommend improvements or alternatives to meet campaign objectives and report on all campaigns.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day and project-related communications.
- Liaise and manage the soliciting of content, design elements, copywriting, proofreading and preparation of campaign elements internally and with relevant parties.
- Support & assist the Integrated Annual Report suite and other projects as required.
**Objective 3 - Manage and engage with the brand CSI representatives**:
- Share CSI requests from prospective suppliers and information with the brand CSI representatives where appropriate and in line with group strategic imperatives.
- Assist with CSI Group projects, forums, and events.
- Manage the CSI project and information repository, ensuring that submission and information is up to date.
- Coordinate and communicate with brand CSI representatives.
- Create awareness campaign, showcasing various CSI projects.
**Objective 4 - Administrative duties**:
- Manage general administrative duties within the department including:
- Processing of invoices & obtaining quotes.
- Event co-ordination.
- Agendas, invitations, and minutes for marketing forums.
- Stationery orders and promotional items.
- Create and amend PowerPoint presentations.
**Educational Requirements**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Digital Marketing and Communication and/ or Marketing and Communications.
- Share Point, WordPress and Everlytic experience essential.
- Project management an advantage.
**Experience requirements**:
At least two years’ experience in a digital, customer service, corporate communications/ marketing-related environment.
