Claims Consultant/administrator

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure adherence to claims & underwriting guidelines.
- Load claims information onto any future client or claims system.
- Identifying 3rd party information and escalating to Insurer.
- Compile and submit outstanding claims reports as per set standards.
- Daily telephonic & written feedback to clients until the claim is finalized.
- Minimize or ZERO cancellations through regular and proactive dealings with clients during the claims process.
- Assist clients with claims-related problems and report all deviations to reporting level.
- Management of calls in a professional and efficient manner.
- Follow-up calls where and when needed.
- Dealing with clients and processes in line with company procedures.
- Maintain professional interaction and good relationships with AU, Insurance Companies and Banks.
- Prevent duplicate payments.
- Registration of claims.
- Gathering all relevant supporting documents to further the claims process.
- Information must be submitted to Insurers immediately upon receipt & excess all SLA time-frames.
- Daily follow-up on claims process with the Insurer.
- Superior Claims Finalization with the intent to generate referrals.
- Ensure confidentiality of database information
- Any other instruction from Management.
**Requirements**:
- Matric
- Minimum of 5 years insurance claim experience.
- Credit Life Insurance will be an advantage
