We are looking for a Process Manager for Water Treatment to join a well established company based in Sandton. You must have relevant experience in Water Treatment Plant Design.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plan process engineering activities with respect o the engineering deliverables for tenders and awarded projects, process engineering planning & scheduling, preparation of progress reports, manpower & resource forecasts, time schedules of engineers, utilisation of resources effectively & efficiently.
- Process design & detail Engineering including performing process modelling, design calculations, process optimisation, sizing & selection of equipment etc. for tenders and for awarded Projects.
- Reviewing clients tender documents, specifications, data sheets, verification of design criteria.
- Preparation of various engineering deliverables such as process flow diagrams, P & I diagrams, process data sheets, equipment specifications, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, HAZOP studies & reports, operation & maintenance manuals etc. and providing necessary engineering inputs to the other disciplines and other departments.
- Providing first level management for your direct reports, including goal setting, coaching, performance appraisals, and compensation recommendations.
- Ensuring proper division of work & responsibility among the Process Engineers, providing proper guidance & integration of work done, ensuring good, positive & healthy working nature among the team of engineers to ensure optimum productivity & efficiency.
- Evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications, technical bid analysis etc.
- Reviewing vendor’s documents, drawings, data sheets, specifications and calculations.
- Develop commissioning plan and support commissioning activities.

**Qualifications**
- Chemical Engineering Degree.

**Experience required**
- Minimum 5 years experience in water treatment plant design (with minimum 3 years in advanced water treatment processes).
- Worked in consulting or EPC Project Environment.
