Join our esteemed 5-star luxury properties as a Luxury Hotel or Lodge General Manager, where your goals will include overseeing all aspects of hotel operations to maximize revenues and guest satisfaction while solidifying our position in the marketplace. This will be achieved through meticulous training, yield management, and implementation of service standards, with constant communication and feedback to the Group Operations Manager and Proprietor.

Your main duties and responsibilities will encompass maintaining the hotel to the highest standards, implementing an efficient preventative maintenance program, and ensuring maximum room availability. Practice cost control, set sales and profit targets, and ensure the management team receives appropriate training. Your role will involve personal interaction with guests, resolving complaints, and fostering top-class customer care standards. Additionally, you will develop a proactive yield management program, create an aggressive marketing plan, and provide accurate reporting for enhanced sales and marketing strategies.

Organize meetings with department heads to address policy changes and assess progress, ensuring all staff comply with operational and service standards. Training and developing staff to achieve their career goals and fostering a culture of top-class customer care will be paramount. Maintaining good relationships with employees and the local community, alongside holding regular communications meetings, is crucial.

Your goals will include working to achieve targets set by the Group Operations Manager, developing a proactive Yield Management program to maximize revenue. An aggressive marketing plan will be developed to increase market share, with a focus on building relationships and directing resources effectively.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and fostering personal development. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations, excellent leadership, interpersonal, and operational skills. While formal education and certifications are beneficial, extensive experience and a passion for delivering exceptional service are equally important.
